Take advantage of this great resource of knowledge and experience! Your retailer can ensure that your equipment is tailored to your exact requirements, advise on how it all fits together, how boards should be configured, sails should be rigged, whether that wetsuit really fits or the harness is the correct type for your bodyshape and sailing style – and in the unlikely event of something going wrong with the gear, can honour the warranty, and quite possibly even lend you something else to use while your equipment is being repaired or replaced.

Most UK retailers also have a range of demo equipment so that you can try before you buy, and/or links with local windsurfing schools, to help you further along the learning curve. Many offer a thriving social scene too, with annual trips abroad, product launch nights, talks and demos from pro sailors or brands and much more.
